My journey so far part 2

So I left of with doing work out with pt james who should me the machines how to use them how to be safe on them bare in mind this is the beginning so was hard so this was November December so while I was doing different things treadmill weights bike weight trolly loads I carnt name 😅 so December was going good I was going the gym everyday so that’s November when I started and December just a little note I’ve been going the gym every day still evan now . Anyway so December was good felt good but the weight wasn’t dropping now yes I was one at the beginning that thought yes its easy can I just say its not so I was disappointed but I carried on and worked tirelessly so yhe also going back to my first blog with expectations so I was disappointed I was asking advice and getting ideas and one day I was stood out side the gym feeling crap with my self wasn’t loseing weight but my body did feel better and I spoke to callum who just wondered whats was wrong I told him that I’m feeling frustrated I honestly nearly quit then yes u will here more about wanted to in more clogs comeing. So I said about my eating and my weight was just staying the same so he told me just go work out and I’ll ask Rachel who is the health and fitness manger of dw fitness (everlast fitness) whitch by the way has also been amazing so we started working together every Tuesday I also did one thing u should never do is say to a personal trainer to bring it yep I did I went there 🤦‍♂️😂 I would regret this just kidding

So before training I had to warm up so I went on a treadmill because I was always on the bike so Rachel said why not try the treadmill couse its more active I also remember circuits I did whitc will be on the videos some of the things part of the circuit also excuse me couse I carnt remember the machines names of what I’ve used or the equipment but I know it was tough but if u want to achieve your goals then that’s what u need. Rachel also helped me with a food plan what to have for breakfast dinner tea that is healthy can give me the calories to burn and also have a bit more energy then I did so I did food diary’s so she could see what I was eating and what was good what wasn’t so a change to my food eating and dieting. part 3 coming soon

My journey so far

Well let’s start in 2019 about November I had a few blood tests and ecgs my body then was telling me something I also suffer from depression and anxiety and Adhd so I did all the tests I got weighed I was in the 25.5mark maybe more carnt remember. Any way went to a doctor fir all that couldn’t walk couldn’t breath I was unfit and it wasn’t me any more I used to love walking doing sports so I let my self go a bit as u can see.

Any way to cut a long story short the doctor said to me that one day your going to walk out of here and I’m never going to see u again if u don’t get your self sorted so I went away with the doctors words still ringing in my ears and was on the way to cineworld one day just before was due to go Bristol to see a band haxan. So to get to the cinema u have to walk past dw fitness as it was called then so I had 50 pound walked up the stairs and said can I get a gym membership so I got signed up couldn’t do the walk around couse I had doctors again that day so I did it I got a gym membership the lady who signed me up was called paulina she talked me throw what I would get with my membership and the classes and discount she did an amazing job.the next day I walked in was meant to see one of the trainers called James now he was ill that day so to give me the tour and look around was callum one of the mangers there. He showed me around the cardio area the weight area swimming pool evan we on the machines talked about my goals what I want from the gym games aswell like xbox ps4 I didn’t do to much on them couse he didn’t want what james was going to show me to see what level I was at. So a few days later couse u get a few free sessions with one of the pts when u join. So one thing he said to me was don’t get your expectations to high and the gym can be intemdateing place I said about my mental health and they all understand at the gym so he showed me some things to do around around gym so when we came to the end of the sessions I’d have a basic understanding of were im at and other things.

So from day one I was welcomed by everyone there and to this day they all still support me and have my back whitch is amazing part 2 coming soon

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
